We try to be super moms, right? Well, sometimes it just doesn't all fall into line. I was talking to a mother of twin boys. Their game jerseys got stuck behind something in the laundry room. They weren't missed until GAME DAY! In fact, it was time to go out the door. Needless to say, when the pile was located, it smelled like "cheese". Bad cheese. OH, NO!

Well, it was time to break out the SPORTZYME. The uniforms were sprayed and other kids were commenting on the great smell of their teammates. Not a hint of cheese. But the story doesn't stop there. There was one uniform and two boys with two games in succession. What to do??? Well, of course, a few more pumps of the Sportzyme onto the jersey. Presto. Good as new.... and no one was the smarter. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.

Extra, Extra, Read All About It!!! Hot off the press; these pictures were just sent to me! Okay, it all starts with something I call Norwex insomnia. It sounds crazy, but people get so excited when their products arrive. They start using them, seeing how amazing they are, and they find themselves feverishly cleaning at late-night hours.

This lady's husband historically spent hours scraping the shower doors with a razor blade to get rid of the build-up on the door. He said that if my "stuff" worked, he was going to sell Norwex! Little did he know....

His wife was up at 1:30 am cleaning her shower doors. She sprayed on the Descaler, left it for 5 minutes and wiped the shower doors clean with the Bathroom Scrub Mitt. She was so excited that she took the before and after pictures out to her daughter. Her daughter was convinced that the after photo must have had the shower door open. Ahhhh, now that is clean!

As a busy mother of three (5, almost 4 and just 2), I need time-saving techniques. I juggle a career as a heart surgery physician assistant with a day spa and wellness center where I work and own. So you ask, why on earth did you add one more thing??? That is a good question. I love the products. I have fun, and it is a flexible job that works well with my family. In fact, my children are some of Norwex's greatest fans. For starters, I had a party while my midwestern sister was in town. It was brand new to California, and those who attended my party were excited. In fact, there were those who wanted to host parties of their own. My sister just looked at me and said, "Shari, I live in Iowa." And I was "in". But, if the truth be known, I had been using products for almost a year. I knew quite a lot about the company and was entertaining the thought.... As strange as it sounded, I was excited about cleaning. Why? Well, it fit in well with my wellness interests. As I learned more about the chemicals in our homes; yea, the ones we deem harmless because we use them every day and they smell good, there was absolutely no doubt that I needed Norwex in my house. But I also saw the need, from an environmental standpoint. And the business opportunity was astounding.

So back to my point about being a Super Mom.... The dusting mitt is amazing. I had to prove it to myself, but I needed to dust less. Talk about a time-saving technique! The mitt picks up dust rather than moving it around. The superfine microfiber in a dense pile picks dust up! And, it is naturally antibiotic with silver. My house was a dustbowl. We live on the edge of town, not far from orchards. I have lots of picture frames and knick knacks. I had lots of dusting to do. But I dust less. And, the first time I did a ceiling fan, I was under it, looking up at it with contacts, and hoping.... Well, let me tell you, the dust was laden on my mitt and NONE fell in my eyes. NONE. And the little crevices on things? The coffee grounds in the grate. The cloth lamp shades. The plasma TV screens. This might just be an a-ha moment for you!

Hair in all the wrong places

I have large amounts of tile flooring. I have long hair and I shed a lot. (Did I mention that I also have a daughter with long hair?) That combination was always such a messy proposition. I mean, who likes wet hair swirling around on their floors as they mop. It moves around, but remains "attached" to the floor! YUK!

Now my life is so much easier. I save so much time mopping my floors. For starters, it is no longer a big project. I can whip out my Norwex mop system and go over my floors in no time flat. The dry mop is excellent for picking up dust bunnies and hair and fur and dirt and germs. The microfiber technology picks up 99.94% of the bacteria. Then I whip out the blue mop pad. I spritz it with water and go. This picks up the stickies.... And the silver embedded in the fibers of that FINE microfiber kills the bacteria that remain in the mop. I do a little dance around my floor with my ergonomically correct, fabulous mop system. Lovely. My floors are cleaner because I clean more often (it is so easy and quick) and it actually PICKS up bacteria! And the rubber static brush is an absolute must. Brush it into the garbage and keep going. I love, love, love it!

National Norwex Conference

Lawrence went to the Norwex conference in Minneapolis this fall. He was absolutely amazed and impressed with what a giving company Norwex is. To top that off, we have joined a phenomenal team with many stars who are spreading the good news about Norwex. I love the fact that with more people telling people about a way to save money, while saving time, our health and our environment, we are really making a difference in our world and in people's lives. It's a good feeling.

We live in an area of HARD water. I mean, we put other hard water to shame. That ugly toilet bowl ring was so resistant! It just continued to layer up, until now. I discovered Norwex's Descaler. It's tough, but it's not ruining our lungs or our environment. First, you need to lower the water level in the bowl by pouring a large amount of water into the bowl. Once the level goes down, spray the ring and let it set no more than 10 minutes. Waa la. With very little elbow grease and a spirisponge, that toilet jewelry was gone!

Okay, so it looks okay and it smells okay, so we can live in denial.... Have you ever thought, as you poured Drano down your sink, where that goes? Do you live in a farming community where the air is clean and fresh, but there seems to be a lot of cancer? How about the prescription medications that many take. Do you know that blood pressure meds and hormones abound in our water? When you flush toilet bowl cleaner down the toilet, when you use bleach on some surface to sanitize it, do you think about where it goes? Do you ever wonder what the water will be like a few generations from now?

Join those who are individually making a difference. They are cleaning their homes chemically free. Allow our children to enjoy clean water. Help leave our planet in better shape than when we came into it.

Bert and Ernie

Did I tell you what really hooked me? My sister was in town for a couple weeks, visiting with her 3 boys (and one on the way). We planned a Norwex party while she was here because the hostess program is so phenomenal. I wanted all that free product! In preparation for the party, she looked at my embarrassingly grungy and gross creme (at least they used to be) upholstered chairs. She sprayed water on half of the worst one and quietly used Bert, the enviro cloth, on it. I will show you the pictures because they speak for themselves! The grape juice stain that had been there for years was gone and so were the other ??? stains. I had been using some of the products already and LOVED them, but I had never "challenged" them to see what power they really have. I was already impressed that with a Bert and Ernie (an enviro and a window polishing cloth), I could fly through my kitchen, cleaning everything. The grease magically disappeared from my stainless stove and vent. The fingerprints were erased off the stainless refrigerator in record time leaving ner a streak. The faucets shone. The granite sparkled and I knew they were 99.94% bacteria free. But when I saw the transformation in my chair, the chair that I thought I needed to recover when the kids were a wee bit older, using just water, I WAS SOLD!!!

The conference was amazing. One of the chief things that Lawrence brought home was how "giving" the company was. Their mission and their actions are spot on!

We are excited about the newly launched products. In the land of fruits and berries, the Fruit Scrub Cloth is perfect. The statistics of what is on our fruits and vegetables is staggering. Now we have a way to remove all that and wax off apples, too!

More than anything, we love the new Kids Line. The little tykes are our future. If we teach them how to treat our planet nicely and be healthy, they will share that with the next generation. We will definitely leave the planet in better shape as the years go by. My children just love to clean, and I hope to foster that! Before Earwax, I simply couldn't let my kids do the "fun stuff". They wanted to spray and dip and do. ARGGGHH. Those chemicals made that impossible. However, now, we do a team effort. The adult mop system adjusts from short to tall. My toddler loves, loves, loves to mop. Yeah, even at 23 mos, he is picking up 99.94% bacteria off our floor (albeit, a swath), JUST USING WATER!!! Dusting is great with the mitt that uses static to COLLECT dust. Yep, it is true. You have to dust less often. What is not to like about that!! And the enviro and window, polishing cloth just do everything. They are irreplaceable. So all that being said, the kids now have their own! They are simply adorable! They are brightly colored, smaller and completely effective. They aren't toys. They perform, and the quality is what Norwex always gives. Guess what Andreas is getting on his birthday??? Yep, and I will bet based on history, this gift will be his favorite.

Hello again. I'm traveling now with my baby. Boy, is it difficult to leave the other two behind, and I really miss Lawrence. But, it has been a great trip so far. We came back for a family reunion, but also got in a mini team meeting for Norwex. This is such a fantastic company, and the products are phenomenal. I certainly wouldn't have added another business to my schedule if it hadn't impressed me a lot!!!

I am really looking forward to the national meeting in Minneapolis this month. Unfortunately, I won't be there, but Lawrence will be. Our team will be well represented there. Stay posted. I will share some of the new products that get launched.

But, down to the basics, I have to tell you, I just love the Enviro Cloth and the Polishing Cloth, otherwise known as Bert and Ernie. I never cease to be amazed at what one can do with this dynamic duo! They have saved my family so much money! That definitely has been a great thing both at home and our business during this economic downturn. Oh, and I feel SO great about using just water to clean! I use almost no chemicals, and my three little children LOVE to clean; so we do! But all this wouldn't be fantastic at all, if they didn't do an equal job or better than the other products I had used. Well, I am here to tell you that they do a better job than everything else I have tried. How often can you say that?
